Situated in Little England, Versfeld Street is named after Dirk Versfeld who bought the first holiday home in Stilbaai back in 1896. Needless to say, this house is located at the river-end of what is known today as Versfeld Street. What’s more, after having been carefully restored in 1995, the house is still in use today.
As the story goes, Dirk faithfully raised the Union Jack (back then the Cape Province was still a British Colony) at his house every morning. As a result the neighbourhood acquired the name of ‘Little England’, and the name stuck.
Our property borders on one of various green areas in Stilbaai where nature is left unspoiled. Every day we see a variety of birds, one of which is the spotted eagle owl, as well as wildlife like Bushbuck, dassies and tortoises. Although the deer and dassies often destroy plants in our garden, we feel deeply blessed to live so close to nature.
This property also is near the spectacular hiking trail developed along the Goukou River.
Both Cosmos and Hibiscus has a private entrance with their own key and our guests enjoy free parking on-site. Of course you can book the units separately or together.
Our other holiday accommodation property, Byt-Byt, is situated at 11 Seemeeu Crescent in the harbour area of Stilbaai West. The fully fenced house is built on a really large stand in a quiet area and offers a double lockable garage for vehicles.
Attached to the house is an annex in the form of a bachelor’s flat which you can, of course, book separately, or together with the house.
This property is near the golf course, the skate park, the Still Bay Angling Club, the blue flag western beach and, of course, the Stilbaai Harbour.

Of course you can book both of our units together, or each on its own.
